In 2008 we have moved to the nationally recognized 1200
HOUR PROGRAM. For estheticians wanting to complete a 1200 hour program
we are on your team. In 2008
we offer both a 600 and 1200 hour program. Why? Because
1200 hours is the national standard adopted by National Coalition of
Esthetic Association/ Manufacturers and Distributors.(NCEA).
The 1200 hour course will prepare you to take this national exam and
preparatory work is included in the advanced 600 hour package.
Students wishing to transfer into our advanced 600 hour program may
be required to take 100 hours additional to "bring them up to speed"
and prepare them for the advanced material if they have not had a
600 hour basic program. We are the first school in Oregon to offer a
1200 hour esthetics program.
We are proud to be the very first school in the country to
have their program approved for students to take the NCEA
Exam upon graduation. We anticipate more states will use the NCEA
exam as a tool to establish esthetic qualifications and enhance the
mobility of estheticians from state to state. It is also the
standard being adopted to determine what procedures an esthetician
may perform. We anticipate this to be the wave of
the future and are excited to be preparing students for it. Additional
chapters, business management and hands-on practice are included.
Patterned
after the NCEA recommendations and requirements for CIDESCO training, our goal is to help
you achieve the same level of skill found in internationally trained technicians. Sections
of the advanced portion of the program are offered as seminars of theory and
practical for those licensed in the industry. We will also be
offering NCEA Certification Preparatory Classes and other NCEA
curriculums. For class dates scroll to the bottom of the class
list.
Pre-registration
is required. Financial aid may be available. Call for consultation.

Licensed
estheticians may sign up for individual classes or students may enroll for the entire
program. Continuing
education courses meeting NCEA requirements for post-certification
education will be available in the
future.
These are not
manufacturer sponsored classes but neutrally educational in nature. Please feel free to
call with questions. We look forward to seeing you in class soon.
